Quality is essential when it comes to vape and ejuice products. Customers need confidence that your product is safe, and custom labels help generate trust. Our ejuice product labels are available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials, all with a top quality look and feel. Water and oil resistant materials like vinyl and plastic keep ejuice refill cartridges looking fresh. If you’re unsure what style of label would be best for your vaping products, give us a call at 877.277.4682.
Regulations on Vaping Product Packaging
Regulators have prohibited vaping product packaging from being designed in a way that would appeal to children. For this reason, it’s smart to avoid bright colors or any appearance that could be mistaken by a child for food packaging. So you’ll need to get creative! Also keep in mind that, because vaping products contain nicotine, they must carry the following statement: “WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.” Additionally, California manufacturers and those selling to California residents must follow Proposition 65 labeling requirements.
Practical Packaging Suggestions for Vaping and eJuice Products
The vape industry has developed standard packaging sizes for its products, so you’ll want to be aware of all your options. You can check out our Complete Guide to Custom Vape Labels for all the details, but the most important suggestion to note is to use water-resistant and oil resistant materials and finishes. Also keep in mind that if you’re using small cylindrical packaging, you’ll want to ensure your logo is sized and positioned properly. Because our team has experience providing labels for vaping products, we’ve developed processes specifically designed to make vape labels more cost-effective. For example, variable data printing allows you to create small runs for each date. If you have questions about vape label design, give us a call at 877.277.4682. We’re happy to help.

We have a multitude of different materials that you can choose from, including:
Since E-liquid is a sticky substance, we would recommend a plastic or vinyl material for your vape labels. This will keep your labels looking good even if your customers have drips and spills on the label.
Once you have chosen the perfect material for your label, you can choose from our different laminate options. Laminating a label gives it a more heavy-duty staying ability and unbeatable durability that can stand up against sunlight, moisture, oil, fingerprints, solvents, and scuffing. We currently have four finishes:
What size label you need depends on what you are sticking (applying) your label to.
No product is a one size fits all. Creating a mock-up label is the simplest way to see what size will work best for your needs.
Here’s how: Take a piece of paper, wrap it around or fit the paper to your product, and then cut it down to size.
This may take a little playing around with but will give you a visual on what size looks best on your product. Grab a pencil to make tick marks, graph paper for easy lines, or use other labels you like to aid with creating your faux label.
After you’ve got the mockup label created, measure it in inches to see what you’ve got. This will let you know what size label you need for your product.
(After you measure your mock-up label, check out our website to see if we have your size in our catalog of dies to choose from. Odds are, we will have exactly that sized die or something very close.
Yes! It’s actually a really awesome way to save money. As long as the designs all have the same specs (size, shape, material, finish, and color option), they can go on the same order together. For example, a chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavor would each be considered a separate design, but can all go on the same order if the specs match.
Remember! Make sure your “Grand Total of Labels” accounts for all of the designs that you are ordering. For example, if you need 200 vanilla, 200 chocolate, and 200 strawberry labels, your grand total of labels is 600.
You can have as many designs as you would like on a single order. The first design is no charge, and each additional design $10 per design. We only charge up to the first 30 designs. After that, it’s free. Bring it on!
Here are a few things to look out for when preparing your art files:
– Size of your art file should be 0.125” larger than the final cut size.
– Background color or patterns go all the way to the edge of the artwork (bleed).
– Text and design elements should be inside of the safe zone, within 0.125″ from the cut line.
– Fonts sized at 5pt or larger.
– Fonts converted to outlines, and images embedded. (We won’t see them otherwise!)
– For image files, resolution is at least 300ppi. For best quality, we recommend 800ppi.
– Files are less than 100MB each.
Our team wants to see your business succeed, and we’re committed to helping you achieve your vision. When you call us for help, you’ll talk with an Experience Team member who knows labels front-to-back, who can answer any question you throw at them.
