UV rays cause fading or smearing on labels that aren’t protected. Our UV labels are made with a UV-resistant gloss laminate finish that gives your labels a rich, glossy look and serves as a defense from the sun. The UV-resistant laminate acts like a long-lasting sunscreen, ensuring labels stay looking smart.

UV labels are the right choice for sunny outdoor applications, including window stickers, parking decals, bumper stickers, or contact information leave-behind labels for the mechanical and service industries. Another benefit of UV-resistant laminate is that it is water-resistant, so the labels are able to withstand damp or humid environments. Plastic and vinyl label materials paired with our UV-resistant laminate will be fully waterproof!

UV Gloss finish labels are popular for any products that are frequently exposed to sunlight. UV Gloss finish labels are frequently used for window stickers, parking decals, bumper and stickers.
UV Gloss finish labels have a high-sheen appearance and emphasize the colors in your label. This look is perfect for brands that want to draw attention to the eye of their customer with protection from the sun.
If you need to write a date, variety name, or other information on your labels, you’ll want to choose a material with a matte laminate.
With a matte laminate, we recommend using a fine point or ultra fine point permanent marker. Since the laminate is made of plastic, ballpoint pens or gel pens aren’t recommended.
To determine your label size, follow these simple steps:
And you’re done!
Here are a few things to look out for when preparing your art files:
– Size of your art file should be 0.125” larger than the final cut size.
– Background color or patterns go all the way to the edge of the artwork (bleed).
– Text and design elements should be inside of the safe zone, within 0.125″ from the cut line.
– Fonts sized at 5pt or larger.
– Fonts converted to outlines, and images embedded. (We won’t see them otherwise!)
– For image files, resolution is at least 300ppi. For best quality, we recommend 800ppi.
– Files are less than 100MB each.
