Our White Vinyl material is a great choice for brands that need a flexible and or durable label. Vinyl materials work for virtually any industry or purpose, especially if your labels need to adhere to a small rounded surface or if your labels are exposed to exterior conditions.
Our White Vinyl materials is frequently used on windows, industrial products, oil based products, lip balm and other cosmetic tubes.
You may have come across the terms waterproof and water-resistant when researching the best wine label material. While you may see these terms listed together, they are not interchangeable, and knowing the difference will help you decide which material will perform best for your wine product.
A truly waterproof label is made of plastic or vinyl material, with an over-laminate (either glossy or matte) for even more protection. These materials will shield against water, and protect the label from shriveling, curling, or peeling. After being applied to a clean, dry surface, your waterproof labels can withstand full submersion in water for extended periods of time. You can make a splash with any of our plastic materials! Choose from clear, white, or metallic options, or select a white or clear vinyl for supreme durability.
Water-resistant labels will be able to endure moisture to a degree, but not entirely. While these materials will shield against water for a time, the look and feel of the label will be affected after contact with water is made. Water-resistant materials are recommended for products that will encounter damp environments, but not experience full immersion or long term exposure to moisture. We refer to these materials as having a “wet-strength.” A wine bottle that needs to hold up to condensation in the refrigerator or float in a cooler of ice is a great example. Avon Classic Crest, Estate 4, Estate 9, and Black Vellum all have wet strength capability.
Absolutely! Frontier has a wide variety of special kiss-cut shapes to choose from. (Kiss-cut simply means that the shape of your sticker is cut out on a roll ,leaving the liner/backing material in place.)
If we don’t have that kiss-cut shape you have your heart set on, you can custom order one! Custom shapes offer you the freedom to be uniquely creative with your branding. Whether it’s a scalloped edge to match your company’s aesthetic or a sticker shaped like an ice cream cone, the options are endless! Ordering a custom shaped die is a one-time fee of $350, and afterwards, you have that shape available forevermore at no additional charge. Let your imagination run wild, and we’ll bring that custom-shaped vision to life.
Here are a few things to look out for when preparing your art files:
– Size of your art file should be 0.125” larger than the final cut size.
– Background color or patterns go all the way to the edge of the artwork (bleed).
– Text and design elements should be inside of the safe zone, within 0.125″ from the cut line.
– Fonts sized at 5pt or larger.
– Fonts converted to outlines, and images embedded. (We won’t see them otherwise!)
– For image files, resolution is at least 300ppi. For best quality, we recommend 800ppi.
– Files are less than 100MB each.
Our team wants to see your business succeed, and we’re committed to helping you achieve your vision. When you call us for help, you’ll talk with an Experience Team member who knows labels front-to-back, who can answer any question you throw at them.
