Clear labels seamlessly blend into a product’s packaging, providing a “no-label” look, allowing the product to shine through. Clear plastic and vinyl labels in matte and glossy finishes allow you to fully customize your look. Our clear waterproof labels are moisture-repellent, making them ideal for food, oil, and water-based products and packaging that will be refrigerated.

Clear labels are highly versatile and look amazing in almost any application. We have three options to choose from: Clear Plastic, Ultra Clear Plastic, and Clear Vinyl.
For the most cost-effective option, Clear Plastic is the way to go. It’s very easy to apply and looks stunning on most surfaces.
Ultra Clear Plastic is a super thin material that practically disappears on glass surfaces. If you want a “no-label” look similar to screen printing, this is the material for you! Keep in mind that this material can be tricky to apply by hand, but it works wonders in a label applicator.
Clear Vinyl is the muscle of the clear materials. Weatherproof and oil proof, this material can withstand virtually any indoor and outdoor application.
If you want a crystal clear, “no label” look, opt for a gloss finish.
If you have a frosted container, or want a frosted look for your label, choose the matte laminate for an understated look.
Nothing beats a simple white design on a clear label. The only problem is that you can’t actually see it on screen! The temptation might be to make the design elements black instead of white, but try going a step further and make everything 100% magenta. If all your artwork layers are intact (which they really should be!) you should name this layer “White Ink”. This will easily clue the artwork team in that you don’t actually want pink. You can also add instructions in your order itself, or drop a line to our Experience Team letting them know what you need.
To determine your label size, follow these simple steps:
1. Take a piece of graph or printer paper and wrap it around your product.
2. Make tick marks where you want label to be.
3. Cut the paper down to size and wrap it around product again.
4. Repeat until your prototype is the perfect shape and fit.
5. Measure the width and length of mockup label in inches.
And you’re done!
Regarding artwork, bleed is your background color, pattern, or design that extends 0.125″ beyond the cut line of your label. Bleed ensures that your entire background is printed and does not get cut off.
Regarding artwork, the safe zone is the area where all text and design elements must remain to prevent this information from being cut off. Text and design elements should be within 0.125″ from the cut line.
Here are a few things to look out for when preparing your art files:
