Need a bronze medallion sticker for a contest? Want to make the gold of the tiger’s eyes glow on your supplement bottle? We can do that.
Do you have questions about our silver metallic materials? We would love to help you get your questions answered. Here is some great information about our metallic materials.
Silver Metallic Paper
This material starts as silvery metallized stock. By printing our semi-transparent inks, we can make any color look metallic. Because it is paper, is used in all dry, indoor applications. It is considered permanent when applied to most flat, hard, clean, dry, non-coated surfaces. It is completely opaque, so it could cover other print or be seen clearly on the inside of a window even in bright sunlight.
Silver Metallic Plastic
This material starts as silvery metallized stock. By printing our semi-transparent inks, we can make any color look metallic. As a plastic, it can get wet as much or as little as you would like. It is used in all indoor applications. It is considered permanent when applied to most flat, hard, clean, dry non-coated surfaces. It is also completely opaque.
Both of these materials are really great for grabbing attention on the shelf. We recommend using Color + White (5/c) printing when you choose a metallic material. If you don’t all of the print will appear metallic. If you want portions to be non-metallic, you will want to provide us with a “spotwhite” layer (100% magenta so we can see where you intend it) in your artwork or information on where you want white ink printed behind your artwork.
If you choose to go without white ink, we recommend using our matte laminate. It makes colors really pop on metallic. We really recommend it if you have low percentage colors (where any of the CMYK values are below 15%) that are not backed with white ink.
As a digital printer, we can quickly and efficiently get you some great looking metallic label or stickers. We custom print for every customer, so you get exactly what you want, not just settling for what a company has available.
